What made you decide to bid on a Nissan GTR at auction?

—I've always wanted a GTR, but they're usually too expensive. When I found this 2009 model with 62,000 kilometers at a dealer auction, I couldn't resist the opportunity.

Are you concerned about the transmission issues and lack of throttle response?

—Yes, these are definitely challenges that I'll need to tackle. However, I've already done some research and have parts on order to try and fix the transmission issue on a budget.

What upgrades do you have planned for the GTR?

—I'm planning on adding blowoff valves and aftermarket intake tubes to enhance its performance. It's going to be an absolute beast on the road!

What is the backstory of this GTR? Why was it in Canada?

—The car was originally a US model, but it was brought to Canada at some point. Now, I was lucky enough to bring it back to the US and give it a new life.

—I'm extremely excited! Despite the challenges, I can't wait to bring this GTR to my shop and see what we can do with it. It's going to be an amazing journey!
