Transforming Our Garden: Switching to Raised Beds

🌱Switching to raised beds allows us to overcome the challenges of gravel and clay soil in our garden area.

🛠️We have chosen metal raised beds from VGA, which are durable and expected to last up to 20 years.

💪Installing the raised beds was a big project, but we are happy with the progress we've made so far.

Why did you switch from in-ground gardening to raised bed gardening?

—We decided to switch because the soil in our garden area is mostly gravel and clay, making it difficult to work with.

What type of raised beds did you choose?

—We chose metal raised beds from VGA. They are 2 ft wide, 8 ft long, and 17 in tall. We installed 21 of them.

How long did it take to install the raised beds?

—It took us a couple of days to install all 21 raised beds. Each bed takes around 45 minutes to assemble.

Why did you choose organic compost for filling the beds?

—Organic compost provides nutrient-rich soil for our plants and helps improve the overall health of the garden.
