—As a city girl, I had no prior experience with construction. However, I learned through hands-on experience, research, and invaluable help from friends and volunteers.

What inspired you to renovate an abandoned property?

—The desire to live closer to nature and experience the joy of transforming a neglected property into a beautiful home motivated me to take on this project.

What challenges did you face during the renovation?

—There were many challenges, from learning how to use tools to dealing with unexpected issues like water damage. However, each challenge was an opportunity to learn and grow.

How did you manage to live without electricity and water connection?

—During the early stages of the renovation, I relied on alternative sources, such as a generator for electricity and collecting rainwater for daily needs.

What advice do you have for others interested in renovating an abandoned property?

—Be prepared for hard work, challenges, and a steep learning curve. Surround yourself with knowledgeable and supportive people, and be open to learning new skills along the way.
