—In addition to the pallets, I had to purchase jointer knives, planer knives, a table saw rip blade, a circular saw blade, glue, sandpaper, tongue oil, and incur landfill fees, amounting to $1,295.

—One area that requires improvement is the hand-cut joinery, specifically the mortise and tenon work. The fit could have been tighter for a better overall finish.
