—We discovered a missing flashing around the AC unit, causing water to come in. We placed towels to absorb the water and resolved the issue by getting flashing installed.
How did you stay warm in such cold temperatures?
—We utilized a diesel heater, propane heat, and electric blankets to keep ourselves warm inside the RV. We also sealed any drafts to retain heat.
Were there any difficulties entering the RV?
—Yes, the doors froze and became difficult to open. We had to use de-icer and insulation to prevent them from freezing.
Did you have any other challenges during the snowstorm?
—We had to constantly defrost the windows due to condensation and ice buildup. We also had to be cautious of driving in the blizzard conditions.
