How are you partnering with your friend in the woodworking business?

—Our friend owns a kiln, which complements our sawmill. We will be marketing and selling kiln-dried lumber together, splitting the profits.

What type of logs are you currently working with?

—We are sawing red oak, cherry, and walnut logs, producing a range of lumber sizes and styles to meet various woodworking project needs.

What is the purpose of your mini cabin?

—The mini cabin serves as a peaceful retreat during the hunting season, particularly during the rut, providing a great vantage point for spotting deer.

Why did you plant an abundance of seed in your field?

—Although turkeys tend to eat half of the seed we plant, we have to plant twice as much to ensure there is enough remaining for wildlife and hunting.
