What challenges are you facing in renovating your ancient house?

—Renovating our ancient house comes with various challenges, such as preserving the historical integrity of the building, dealing with antiquated infrastructure, and finding creative solutions for modern living.

How did you process the olives into extra virgin olive oil?

—After harvesting the olives, we carefully separate them from the leaves and branches. We then wash and crush them to release the oils. The olive paste is then pressed to extract the oil, which we carefully collect and store in stainless steel tanks.

Why did you choose to find a vintage fridge instead of buying a new one?

—We believe in giving things a second chance and reducing waste. By finding a vintage fridge and restoring it, we not only save money but also contribute to sustainability by repurposing and reusing existing items.

How did you restore the vintage fridge?

—With the help of David, we disassembled and cleaned the fridge. We repaired any damages and reassembled it, ensuring it is in working condition. We also made sure it looks beautiful by re-painting and polishing it.

How do you involve your daughter, Lucha, in your renovation projects?

—We involve Lucha in our renovation projects by allowing her to observe and participate in age-appropriate activities. This creates a sense of family unity and teaches her valuable skills and lessons about sustainability and craftsmanship.
