Project Supermax: Building a Regular Cab Short Bed Diesel Truck from Scratch

⚙️The American pickup truck offers a variety of configurations, but the regular cab short bed is the sportiest and lightest combination.

🔧We decided to build a regular cab short bed diesel truck, which was not available from the manufacturer, using factory parts.

🚚Shortening the wheelbase required cutting and welding the frame, ensuring it remained level and square throughout the process.

🎨We used a brush to apply a rust barrier coating to the frame, providing a durable and impact-resistant finish.

🏎️In the next stage of the build, we will install performance upgrades, including a 4-inch exhaust and an extreme tune, to unleash the power of the Duramax engine.
