Our Decision to Step Back from the Farmers Market

Why did you decide to step back from the farmers market?

—We experienced drama with other vendors that didn't align with our values and how we want to live our lives. We decided it was best for us to take a break from the market this year.

Will you return to the farmers market in the future?

—We hope so. We believe the current situation is temporary and that things will improve. We want to return to the market and continue sharing our products and knowledge with the community.

What will you miss about the farmers market?

—We will miss seeing our regular customers and the opportunity to meet new people. We will also miss the sense of community among the vendors. However, we will still support the market as customers.

What plans do you have for your gardens now?

—With the extra time and energy we have from not participating in the market, we plan to focus on our own gardens. We are excited to add berries to our homestead and have a successful gardening year.

How has this decision affected your homestead?

—By stepping back from the market, we hope to align ourselves more with our original goal of living a quieter, self-sustaining life. We believe this decision will allow us to focus on what is truly important to us.
