What was the most challenging experience during your two and a half months of travel?
—For us, the most challenging experience was the 43-hour Vietnamese train ride. It started off great, but by the second night, we were exhausted and stinky, making it unbearable.
What was the most annoying thing about traveling together?
—One of the most annoying things for both of us was the difference in our morning routines. I (the author) am a morning person and like to rush, while Katarina is not a morning person and needs time to wake up and think.
What was your favorite country you visited?
—Our favorite country was Team Orest. We loved the friendly locals, the hidden gems, and the overall experience of being there. It felt like a home away from home.
What was your most brutal adventure?
—Our most brutal adventure was the Iraq-Turkey land border crossing. It took us 18 hours to cross, and it was a hectic and frustrating experience.
How much did you spend during your two and a half months of travel?
—We spent around 3,000 to 3,500 euros in total, including flights, accommodations, visas, and food. It varied depending on the country, with some places being more expensive than others.
