🏜️Kadiz Road is a little-traveled highway in the Mojave Desert, connecting Highway 62 and Route 66.
🏰We visit the townsite of Milligan, which was once a well-traveled highway and had a prosperous mining industry. Today, only abandoned structures and a cemetery remain.
🌵Chubbic, another former mining town, had a cement mill and a narrow gauge railroad. We explore the ruins of the town and the remains of the mill.
🚗Abandoned cars can be found throughout the desert landscape, reminding us of a time when this area was bustling with activity.
🌅Our journey concludes with a visit to the Kadiz Dunes and a breathtaking sunset over the desert horizon.
