Why did you decide to rescue your Rickshaw in India?
—After our camper van broke down, we wanted to make use of our time and adventure by saving our 20-year-old Rickshaw named Pete. It was an exciting opportunity to explore India and challenge ourselves.
What challenges did you face during the rescue mission?
—We encountered monsoons, which made the roads treacherous and difficult to navigate. Additionally, wild animals damaged the Rickshaw, causing setbacks and additional repairs.
How did you handle the chaotic Indian roads?
—Driving in India can be chaotic and unpredictable. We had to navigate through a lack of traffic rules and adapt to the local driving culture. It required focus, patience, and quick decision-making.
Did you face any difficulties during the journey?
—Besides the challenges of the weather and damaged Rickshaw, we also had to find fuel strategically due to limited availability. It required careful planning to ensure we didn't run out of fuel in remote areas.
What was the highlight of your journey?
—One of the highlights was exploring the beautiful beaches of Goa and capturing the essence of India's vibrant culture and scenery. It was a memorable experience that showcased the beauty of the country.
