What challenges did you face during the journey?

—We faced unpredictable weather conditions, treacherous coastal features, and the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean. However, our meticulous planning and experience helped us overcome these challenges.

What inspired you to undertake this adventure?

—After recovering from leukemia, we decided to explore our own country and its beautiful coastal regions. We wanted to experience the thrill of adventure and create lasting memories.

—We conducted extensive research, consulted experts, and acquired the necessary navigation and safety skills. We ensured our barge, Matilda, was equipped with the right tools and equipment for the voyage.
