What inspired you to build a homemade railroad go-kart?
—I love bridges and wanted to explore an abandoned train bridge in the desert. Building the go-kart was a challenge I couldn't resist.
Did you face any difficulties during the project?
—Yes, there were many challenges, especially when mounting the engine and fixing a broken wheel. But overcoming these obstacles made the adventure even more rewarding.
What tools and materials did you use to build the go-kart?
—I used a lawnmower engine, leftover wood from a previous project, PVC pipes, zip ties, and various nuts and bolts.
Was the go-kart able to reach the Goat Canyon Trestle Bridge?
—Unfortunately, we had to turn back due to a broken wheel. However, this experience has motivated me to try again in the future.
