Why did you choose to build the sauna inside your shop?
—Working outside in the cold weather is difficult, so I decided to use my shop with a big door for this project.

—Clear cedar lumber is expensive, so I used regular cedar for parts that are not visible to save costs.
Why did you use expanding foam for insulation?
—I used expanding foam to provide insulation and fill any gaps in the floor.
Why did you spray paint the edges of the deck boards?
—I spray painted the edges to cover up the silver metallic vapor barrier to achieve a clean look.
How did you level the deck and walls?
—I took the time to level the deck first and then leveled the walls once they were in place.
