Building a Modern Beach House in The Sims 4

🏡Despite not being a fan of modern architecture, I embrace the challenge of building a modern beach house in The Sims 4.

🏖️I pick a lot in the Sulani world, known for its beach vibes, and design a house that is literally on the beach.

💦Due to gameplay limitations, I have to get creative with adding a pool and end up incorporating a second-story pool.

🌴I use lush landscaping, including plants from Island Living and For Rent, to create a tropical and beachy feel around the house.

💍Alongside building, I share personal updates about my cat's surgery and my wedding planning, including meeting with a florist and attending a catering tasting.

Why did you decide to build a modern beach house when it's not your usual preference?

—I wanted to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. It's always good to try new things and expand my architectural skills.

Why did you choose the Sulani world for your beach house?

—Sulani is a beach world in The Sims 4 that provides the perfect setting for a beach house. I wanted the house to be directly on the beach but not on the water.

Why did you add a second-story pool?

—Gameplay limitations in The Sims 4 prevented me from adding a pool in the ground. I had to get creative and came up with the idea of a second-story pool to work around the restrictions.

What packs did you use in this build?

—I used various packs, including Eco Lifestyle, Island Living, Get Together, and Get Famous. Each pack contributed to different aspects of the build, such as doors, fences, and landscaping items.

Can you share more about your personal updates on your cat's surgery and wedding planning?

—My cat recently had surgery to remove a tumor, and it has been a difficult time emotionally. I also share updates about meeting with a florist and attending a catering tasting for my wedding preparations.
