A Year in Review: Gold Prospecting in 2023

00:19At the beginning of the year, we faced limited places to search due to unfavorable water levels. To overcome this, we built a trail to access a hard-to-reach spot on our claim.

00:39In January, we explored a brand new claim in New Zealand and were pleasantly surprised to find over an ounce of gold in a crevice.

01:23February was a game-changer for us. We found the largest gold nugget we've ever discovered, weighing 16.3 grams. Overall, February was a highly productive month.

02:39In June, we hiked further up the rivers to access better spots and discovered multiple gold nuggets. We also introduced Barney, our super duper special purple high banker.

03:53July started off with some discouragement, but we bounced back and had a successful high banking session, finding over a gram of gold in under a yard.

05:53October was a month of creative pursuits, including shooting our first music video. However, we still managed to get out and find gold through sniping and exploration.

06:58In December, despite a bone graft procedure, we went out with a metal detector and found three gold nuggets and a nail, ending the year on a high note.
