What inspired you to decorate your sewing room?

—I wanted to create a space that reflects my personal style and enhances my creativity. I enjoy learning about interior design and wanted to put that knowledge into practice.

Where did you get the fabric for your dress?

—I received the fabric from a company called Silk and Stitch. They sent me beautiful silk dupion in various colors, which I'm excited to use for my dress.

How do you come up with sleeve designs?

—I often refer to a textbook on patent making for fashion design to explore different sleeve shapes. I experiment with gathering the fabric to create volume and add interest to my garments.

What online classes are you taking for interior design?

—I am currently taking classes on Skillshare as part of a learning path called 'Craft Your Space: Design the Perfect Room with DIY Deco'. These classes teach me about styling techniques, using plants in a space, and creating DIY decor.

What is your vision for your sewing room?

—I want my sewing room to be a functional and inspiring space. I aim to create a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environment that sparks creativity and allows me to work efficiently.
