00:57today I do not well that's because our

00:59our air conditioning uh stopped working

01:02last night and the control board went

01:04out and uh they called us at like eight

01:07o'clock in the morning and we don't wake

01:09up that early so yeah yeah they woke us

01:12up so um happy Friday guys if you're

01:16here from the printify webinar and you

01:18have no idea who we are or what we do

01:21here welcome

01:22um yesterday's printify webinar was

01:25absolutely awesome for those of you who

01:28did not see it you can go over to the

01:30printify YouTube channel then just click

01:32on the uh live tab all their you know

01:35videos they got like playlists live

01:37uploads yada yada click on the live tab

01:39I was the last live stream that you can

01:41you know find on the channel or just

01:42search Starla more printify

01:45rank or ranking and you should find it

01:49um but today we're going to be talking

01:51about reasons why your Etsy listings may

01:53not be selling I thought that this would

01:54be a great topic for today especially

01:56since there are a couple newbies here in

01:58the chat if you're new feel free to let

02:00us know

02:02um yay happy Friday okay everybody can

02:04hear us now good good

02:06um

02:07but one of the most common questions

02:09that we get is hey I've got all these

02:11listings in my shop but nothing is

02:13moving it must be my SEO well probably

02:17not your SEO is probably the last thing

02:19that you need to worry about in the

02:20order of importance the the priorities

02:22in this process of elimination that I

02:25like to go through when it comes to

02:27listings that aren't selling now a

02:30couple quick disclaimers about listings

02:32that that don't sell not all of your

02:35listings are going to sell

02:37um yeah they won't this is one of the

02:39reasons why sellers who have like 2 000

02:42listings in their shop it's just not a

02:46really good strategy

02:48um first of all you're gonna have to pay

02:50the listing fees for all of those

02:53um those get very expensive

02:56second thing is that typically with any

02:59you know Etsy Shop you're only gonna

03:02have a couple listings that hit that

03:04best seller status or that sell over and

03:07over and over again and that's

03:09completely normal you'll probably have a

03:12couple sales on your other listings but

03:16really you're going to have a few

03:18listings that get people into your store

03:21I like to compare this to you know a car

03:22lot where the dealership is going to put

03:25the beautiful sports cars out front and

03:28yeah like those are what get people in

03:31to the car lot but a couple people are

03:34going to drive away with a minivan that

03:37they don't put right up front so these

03:39listings that our best sellers are going

03:41to rank higher in search because they're

03:42going to have higher listing quality

03:44scores hopefully you're you know if

03:46they're getting a lot of sales they're

03:48also getting positive reviews these

03:50further to help your listing quality

03:52scores I think that's mine that's yours

03:56so I'm asking you to give it um that

04:00that will further help your listing

04:02quality scores and it will help them to

04:04rank higher in search so it's completely

04:06normal if you do have a few listings

04:09that do very very well and then the

04:11others are just kind of straggling

04:13behind absolutely normal but you can

04:17always make some improvements especially

04:20if you've got listings that have never

04:24sold at all so that's kind of what we

04:26going to be talking about today

04:28diagnosing those problems
